Changelog
Updates from the Arbitex team — features shipped, improvements made, and what's next.
Webhook dead letter queue — failed delivery inspection and replay
Webhook notifications that fail delivery after retry exhaustion now land in a dead letter queue visible in the admin portal. Operations teams can inspect failed payloads, diagnose endpoint issues, and replay individual events or batches without re-triggering the original source action.
Circuit breaker resilience — graceful degradation for downstream provider failures
Circuit breaker pattern now active across all downstream AI provider connections. When a provider endpoint degrades or fails, the circuit opens automatically and routes traffic to healthy alternatives. Half-open probes restore the circuit when the provider recovers — no manual intervention required.
Content categories documentation — domain taxonomy and policy integration guide
Published documentation for the content category system covering all domains and sub-categories, policy condition syntax for category-based enforcement, custom category CRUD operations, and detection rule linking for category-specific DLP enforcement.
Admin operations guide — day-two operational procedures and runbooks
New admin operations guide covering backup and restore procedures, configuration export and import workflows, key rotation runbooks, certificate lifecycle management, and incident response playbooks for common operational scenarios.
Structured JSON logging — machine-parseable log format across all services
All service logs now emit structured JSON with consistent field names, trace context correlation (trace_id + span_id), and severity levels aligned to OpenTelemetry semantic conventions. Log aggregation pipelines can parse and index without custom parsing rules.
Learn more →Defense & government industry page — ITAR, CMMC 2.0, and classified network governance
New industry page for defense contractors and government agencies. Covers ITAR/EAR technical data detection, CUI/CMMC 2.0 enforcement, NIST SP 800-171 controls mapping, FedRAMP-aligned data sovereignty, air-gap Outpost for SCIFs and classified networks, and zero-trust identity for defense programs.
Learn more →Content category system — 8 domains, 27 sub-categories, and policy engine integration
Content classification system now supports 8 top-level domains and 27 sub-categories for granular policy targeting. Categories are first-class conditions in the policy engine — enforcement actions vary by domain and sub-category. Full CRUD in the admin portal for custom category definitions.
Command palette — keyboard-driven navigation across the admin portal
New command palette accessible via Cmd+K / Ctrl+K in the admin portal. Quick access to policy rules, user management, audit log search, content categories, and system settings without navigating through menus.
Audit trail export — signed packages for regulatory submission
Audit trail export now generates signed evidence packages with audit chain verification, compliance framework identifiers, and enforcement action summaries. Export formats designed for CMMC assessments, HIPAA audits, and regulatory examination submissions.
Certificate lifecycle management — automated renewal and rotation tracking
TLS certificate lifecycle management now includes automated renewal notifications, expiration tracking, and rotation history. Dashboard view shows certificate status across all deployment endpoints with configurable alerting thresholds.
SIEM integration deep-dive guides — Splunk, Sentinel, and Elastic
Published step-by-step integration guides for connecting Arbitex audit logs to Splunk Enterprise, Microsoft Sentinel, and Elastic Security. Guides cover index configuration, field mapping, alert rule templates, and dashboard setup for DLP enforcement monitoring.
Learn more →Pharma & life sciences industry page — FDA 21 CFR Part 11, clinical trial DLP, and drug discovery IP governance
New industry page for pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations. Covers FDA 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records compliance, clinical trial data DLP, drug discovery IP protection, pharmacovigilance AI governance, GxP validation readiness, and air-gap deployment for classified R&D environments.
Learn more →Content category system — full CRUD, policy conditions, and detection rule linking
Content classification system now supports full CRUD for category definitions, policy condition targeting by content category, and detection rule linking for category-specific DLP enforcement. Policy engine evaluates content categories inline with existing compliance bundle enforcement.
Portal analytics dashboard — department-level AI usage and compliance posture
Enterprise admin portal analytics dashboard now includes department-level breakdowns for AI usage volume, cost allocation, DLP trigger rates by category, and compliance framework coverage metrics. Exportable reports for executive and audit review.
Education industry copy kit — regulatory language review and framework accuracy
Reviewed and refined education industry page copy for regulatory language accuracy. Updated FERPA, COPPA, and CIPA framework descriptions to align with current enforcement guidance. Clarified E-Rate compliance documentation requirements for K-12 districts.
